Microsoft Songsmith Makes Economic Collapse Toe-Tappable
If you haven’t heard of Microsoft’s cheese-tastic Songsmith, please do yourself a favor and YouTube it ASAP. The new music simulator automatically improves a tune based around the vocals that you provide (if that doesn’t sound like a recipe for disaster…).
However, Songsmith also seems to have the ability to create tunes based around charts and graphs as well, altering the note pitch in concordance with the rise and fall of the graph’s fluctuating data. Well, it was only a matter of time before some smart-ass put 2 and 2 together and combined it with stock charts of various companies and statistics throughout the course of the economic collapse. The DOW Jones chart says “no, no”, but it’s music says “yes, yes!”
